Baking..

I'm not much of a "chick-flick" fan, but I love Julie and Julia.  So, I have decided to follow Julie's lead and write about my food explorations.  In my story, however, there is no Julia - its just me and my desire to learn how to bake like a pro!  Unfortunately, I do not have the time or money to go to culinary school, so I'm going to teach myself.  I have some textbooks, and will document here all I learn, along with the trials and cake wrecks along the way.
